Butterfly Blues

Afternoon peeps

That was a better day then was expected.  It was my first day back on days at work and I was dreading it, but instead I have worked home this afternoon feeling very pleased with myself.  The girls have spent the morning trying to get one of the Managers to talk me into stepping back up to Section Leader.  I must have done a better job then I thought.

Anyway, I seem to have more energy then normal this afternoon, so I have made a quick Birthday card.  I have gone with a all white theme with just a simple coloured image.  The digital stamp is called Butterfly Flower from Sami Stamps and it has been coloured using ProMarkers.

Other materials used are:

White card stock
Double sided adhesive sheets
Crafters Companion Butterfly embossing folder
Spellbinders Decorative Labels Twenty-Eight die set
Whimsy Stamps Birthday Sentimentables die set
Crystal Glamour Dust glitter

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Mini Christmas Snowman

Evening peeps

Well that has been a waste of a day.  I started the day off ok, but by 11 this morning, I started to feel really rough, so I have spent the rest of the day on the sofa.

I have however, managed a little 10 minutes of crafting here and there.  I have decided this year that instead of making big Christmas cards for everyone, because lets face it they only go in the bin after, I am going to make little cute cards.

So with that in mind, I have made my first little card.  The digital stamp is called Snowman And Son from Lemon Shortbread and it has been coloured using Copics and Promarkers.

Other materials used are:

White card stock
Blue card stock
Double sided adhesive sheets
Tattered Lace Delicate Snowflakes embossing folder
Crealies Crea-Nest-Lies XXL No. 23 die set
Tattered Lace Mini Christmas die
Leonie Pujol Glitter Brush Pens
Crystal Glamour Dust glitter
Gemstone

Smell The Coffee

Evening peeps

I can not get over how so people act.  My son and his mates are having a few problems with their neighbour at the moment.  He tried to gain entry into the house the over night complaining that they were making too much noise.  Yes they are students, but believe me, they are not party animals.  They landed up having to call the police out.

Now, in retaliation, he has reported them for having wild parties and smoking drugs.  I know that everyone thinks their children are good people, but I can say without hesitation, that my son would not be anywhere near drugs and he can't stand parties.  I have always said that they must have given me the wrong baby because he doesn't take after me (I love parties).  Anyway, they have all been told to stay away from him so that the situation doesn't get any worse.

After that little rant, on to my card for today.  I have gone with a funny coffee theme.  The digital stamp is from Bugaboo Stamps and it has been coloured using Copics and Promarkers.

Other materials used are:

White card stock
Yellow card stock
Digital patterned paper
Acetate
Pink & Main Scallop Border die set
Orange organza ribbon
Seed beads
Gemstone button
