Sailing Bears

Evening peeps

What a nightmare of a day.  I have sat and worked out how much money I will have to live on once my son goes to Uni.  I will lose a total of £400 per month which puts me in the position of only just covering my bills.  I feel so angry, most of the people living on my road have never worked a day in their lives but run cars and seem to buy whatever they want.  I have worked all my life and yet now because I no longer have a young child, I am put on the poverty line.  Doesn't seem right.


Anyway, to cheer myself up, I have made a card for my nephew's birthday on Tuesday.  The digital stamp is called Lets Go Sailing from Di's Digi Stamps and I have coloured using Copics and ProMarkers.

Beauty

Evening all

So much for a lay in this morning.  My son was due in work at 6am, at 5.30 he decided to drop a glass on the floor waking me.  I shot out of bed thinking that he had over slept.  At least I'm still off tomorrow, hopefully the lay in will come then.

Posh Poodle

I started on my son's uni shopping today.  It is so hard to work out what he needs, you take for granted what's in your own cupboard at home.  Anyway, I'm lucky enough to get colleague discount and today was one of the double discount days that they run, so that helped with the cost.

Wish You Were Here

Evening all

It has been a very sad day today, I attended the funeral of my Mother's best friend who also use to babysit my son when he was young.  She was taken far to early and the young age of 57.  I think the hardest point was when my mum saw a picture and just burst into tears, I'm not very good with people crying.

CAS Thank You

Evening peeps

Today has been an exciting and stressful day.  My son had a welcome day at his second choice uni, that was the exciting bit.  The stressful part of the day was trying to work out his accommodation.  Because this uni is only his second choice, we have to wait for his results before he can commit to anyone.  He is now stressing that all the accommodation will be gone.  They certainly don't make it easy.
