30th

Good evening

My card today is a commission from another colleague at work.  Her boyfriend is about to turn 30 and he is also about to become a father as she is a month away from giving birth.  She wanted the card to include both of these elements.

I have gone with a blue and green theme and used a digital stamp from Sami Stamps which I have coloured using ProMarkers.

The digital stamp has been fussy cut and layer on using Pinflair glue to give dimension.

I have also used my Cameo Silhouette to cut out the circles and the 30 Today.

The background has been made using two matching digital papers, blue card stock and blue ribbon.  To give a little interest, I have added two light blue buttons.

On this inside of the card, I have used a free card verse from Crafts U Print and added "To The Daddy-To-Be, Happy Birthday"

Winter Carols

Good evening all

I'm going to start off tonight with a bit of a rant.  I have given 8 years of loyalty and work hard to the company I work for only to be told yesterday, that I am not ready for moving up the career ladder.  Instead, there are two young people that have been put forward who have only been doing the job for a year.  My conclusion, they have not got minds of their own and do exactly what they are told, where as I do have a very good mind and put my opinion across if I think there is a better way of completing a task.  Needless to say, I will be looking for a new employer.

Anyway, rant over.  This card today is the first in a big Christmas order for a colleague at work.  She wanted two separate cards in one.  So I have made a double Z fold card with one side for her grandson and one side for her son and daughter-in-law.

The digital stamp is from Di's Digi Stamps and I have coloured it using ProMarkers.  I have also used:

The Magic Of Christmas

Good evening all

This card is a DT card for Oyster Stamps.  I have chosen a black and white theme which is one of my favourites when it comes to Christmas.

I have taken a square piece of white card stock and embossed it using the Die'sire Embossalicious Seasonal Music embossing folder.  This has then been mounted onto black card stock leaving a small border around the edge.

Next, I have randomly stamp a free Spellbinders holly stamp with Perfect Medium and heat embossed with Wow Black Glint Embossing Glitter.

This has been cut into strips and the edges inked with the Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad.

From my computer, I have printed off a Christmas sentiment.  I have made a black frame using the Spellbinders Card Creator Modern Stationary die set.

The flowers have been made by stamping the Heartfelt Creations Christmas Poinsettia with Perfect Medium and heat embossing with the same embossing glitter.  These have then been cut out, shaped and layered together.  In the centre of each flower, I have used black nail art beads.

I have cut out several of the Impression Obsession Fir Sprig die from black card and layer around the frame.

To finish, I have added three black flat back pearls in opposite corners.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Snowflakes Are Falling

Good evening all

After a very long three days at work, I can't finally relax.  It's been a long time since I managed 10 hour days, my body was screaming at me last night.

I think that because of a very busy October with Uni open days and work, my mojo has done a disappearing act.  I not very happy with the card I have made today but thought I would post it anyway.

I have started with a white A5 card blank and inked around the edges using Dew Drop Memento Bahama Blue ink pad.  Next, I have added stitching around the edge with a fine line pen.

For the mats, I have used three different sizes of the Spellbinders Card Creator Modern Stationary die set.  The smallest I have cut from blank card stock and embossed it using a lattice embossing folder.  I have added tiny blue gemstones.

The second, I have cut from blue card stock and randomly stamped with Perfect Medium, snowflakes from the Martha Stewart stamp set.  I have then heat embossed with Wow Blue Glitz Embossing Glitter.

For the last mat, I have cut from white card and inked around the edges using the same ink pad.  Next, using the Honey Doo Crafts Christmas Wishes, I have stamped with Perfect Medium and heat embossed using Wow Blue Glitz and Wow Black Glitz Embossing Glitter.

The big snowflakes has been made using the Heartfelt Creations Arianna Lace die set.  I have cut out two from white card and embossed them using the same two embossing glitters.  Next, I have used one of the centre dies from the Arianna Blooms die set and embossed this using only the black embossing glitter.  These three have been layered together and a black brad placed through the centre.

To finish, I have added a metal charm hanging from the snowflake on a chain.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
