My Besties Challenge August 26th

Good Morning all,

The challenge this week over the the Besties Challenge blog is to make anything but a card.  This has given me the opportunity to put together one of the ideas that have been sitting in the back of my mind for weeks, but I haven't got round to doing.

So my entry is a framed picture.

I have used an image from Sherri Baldy which I have coloured using ProMakers.  This just fitting perfectly with what I wanted to achieve with this project.

I then added a sentiment of Fairy Kisses and Butterfly Wishes with the smallest piece of pink card behind to tie it into the colour theme.

In the corner I have used the Heartfelt Creations Sun Kissed Fleur Stamp Set and the matching Spellbinders Die to make three flowers.  The flowers have been embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Arctic Pearl Lustre.

I have added a couple of die cut dimensional Butterflies with pink and white card and one small Butterfly.  These have been finished off with different sizes of flat back pearls. Just for that finishing touch I have added Cosmic Shimmer Pearl Glue at random points on the background.

I am really please with the way this has turned out and am considering doing more like it,  I hope you agree.

Totally Paper Crafts Challenge

Good Evening,

I have been a busy girl today, this is the second post today.

I have just finished my entry for this weeks Totally Paper Crafts Challenge, Tags and Hearts.  For this card I have used a My Bestie Digital Stamp from Sherri Baldy and digital papers from my crafty stash.

I have embellished the card using a ribbon bow and fabric roses from my local shop, paper flowers and pearl brads from Wild Orchid Crafts and a fabric heart from my stash at home.

To add more interest, I have used Cosmic Shimmer Pearl PVA to the image and the tag.

That's all for now, as I need to go to bed.  Hope you like my card and came back to visit again.

50th Today, Special Sister

Good morning everyone,

Today's offering is a card commissioned by my cousin for her Sister-in-Laws 50th Birthday.  She is not really a girly girl so I thought I would go for a darker colours and this Bestie image fitted perfectly.  The image can be found at Sherri Baldy Designs.

The digital papers are from my crafty stash at home and I have used Spellbinders Delightful Circles Die set.  The flower has also been made using one of these dies.

I have finished off with orange and brown ribbon, a heart shaped ribbon buckle all from my local shop and two Hat Pins from Wild Orchid Crafts.

This is a simple card that really shows off the beautiful image, I hope you agree.

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge Entry

Good Evening all,

I think I will sleep well tonight,  the day has been spent shopping for shoes with my 16 year old son and that is not an easy job.

The good news for me though is that today has been the longest I have been on my feet for the last 6 months, so the recovery from my operation is going better then I thought.  Another couple of months and I should be back to work.

Today's card I finished very late last night and it is my C.R.A.F.T. Challenge entry.

I have used a digital stamp from Tiddly Inks called Wryn Blooms which has been coloured using ProMakers.  The papers are from my stash at home.

I have finished the card with a yellow ribbon bow from my local shop, mini buttons from my crafty stash and the flower has been made using the Heartfelt Sun Kissed Fleur Stamp, embossed with Golden Fish Lustre Cosmic Shimmer Embossing Powers and matching Spellbinders die.

That's it for now, I am off to start the next project.

See you soon.

Passion for ProMakers Favourite Colour Challenge

Morning all,

This weeks challenge over on the Passion for ProMakers Blog is to use your favourite colour combo.

My whole house is decorated in my favourite colour combo of Black, Red and White, so of course I had to make the challenge entry the same colours.

I'm not sure where I got the image from, as I have had it in my computer files for a good few years, but I just love her.

The digital papers are from my stash and I have used a spellbinders die to create the boarder and added black ribbon.

To finish it off I have used a flower which was part of a ring I had, some hat pins which I purchased from Wild Orchid Crafts some time ago and some little black buttons.

There isn't much on this card, but I have to say that it is one of my favourites, I hope you like it to.

Besties Wedding Challenge

Good Afternoon,

I have just finished a card for the Besties Challenge Blog which has a theme this week of Wedding, Puppy Love and Romance.  I have become a little bit obsessed with colouring in these digi stamps.

I have chosen to enter the following twisted easel Wedding card.

The material used to complete this card are:

Sherri Baldy IMG601 coloured in using ProMakers
Digital papers from my stash at home
Spellbinders Window Die
Mini Roses from Ribbon Girl
Large Roses and Lace from a local cake shop
Hat Pins from Wild Orchid Crafts

I have also used a die cut butterfly and flat back pearls.

I hope you enjoy looking at this card as much as I have enjoyed making.

Have a good day

Totally Paper Crafts Challenge Card

Happy Sunday everyone,

Today I have put together a card for my Cousins Granddaughter who will be 5 years old, but before it gets given to her I thought I would enter it into the TotallyPaperCrafts challenge.

This is an 8 x 8 square Easel Card and I have used a digital stamp from Sherri Baldy which is coloured in using ProMakers.

It is decorated with a die cut butterfly, a pearl swirl which I have made myself, ribbon from Ribbon Girl and some paper flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I have also used flat back pearls on the butterfly, cosmic shimmer glue and glitter glue.

I love this card, hopefully you will to.

Saturday, 17 August 2013

Hi all, I was just having a look round the internet and came across the Passion for ProMakers Challenge blog.  I seem to have developed an obsession for ProMakers, so I thought I would enter their challenge this week.

The image on this card is a freebie from Sliekje and is of course coloured using ProMakers and framed by a Spellbinder die.  The papers, sentiment, ribbon, fabric flowers and buttons are all from my crafty stash.

Over the next few days, I hope to put more from my stack of cards on this blog, but it may take a while.
Happy Saturday everyone, I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far.

I have been off work for 5 months with a pro-lapse disc in my back, making cards and reading other card making blogs have kept me from going insane over this time.

My pile of cards is now starting to stack up and I have no item what to do with them, so I thought I would start to show them on my own blog.

I am very new to this blogging so please bear with me as I try to work it out and if anyone has any suggestions on what I can do to make the blog better, I would very much appreciate it.

Now onto the my card creations, I have picked out a couple from my stack to put on here today.

The image on this card is from Sherri Baldy and has been coloured using Pro-makers and framed using a Spellbinders die.  I have a stash of digital papers which I have collected over the years, so I am unable to tell you where they are from (I apologise).

I have finished the card off with ribbon from Ribbon Girl, paper flowers which I have made myself and heart pins which were in my stash of bits and pieces.

I am really short on information for this card.  The image and papers are, again, from my collection and as I only ever made cards for my own use, I never kept track of where these came from.

The card has been finished off with ribbon from Ribbon Girl, a paper flower made by myself and buttons from my stash.

Thats all for now, folks

I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.
