The Magic Of Christmas

Good evening all

This card is a DT card for Oyster Stamps.  I have chosen a black and white theme which is one of my favourites when it comes to Christmas.

I have taken a square piece of white card stock and embossed it using the Die'sire Embossalicious Seasonal Music embossing folder.  This has then been mounted onto black card stock leaving a small border around the edge.

Next, I have randomly stamp a free Spellbinders holly stamp with Perfect Medium and heat embossed with Wow Black Glint Embossing Glitter.

This has been cut into strips and the edges inked with the Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad.

From my computer, I have printed off a Christmas sentiment.  I have made a black frame using the Spellbinders Card Creator Modern Stationary die set.

The flowers have been made by stamping the Heartfelt Creations Christmas Poinsettia with Perfect Medium and heat embossing with the same embossing glitter.  These have then been cut out, shaped and layered together.  In the centre of each flower, I have used black nail art beads.

I have cut out several of the Impression Obsession Fir Sprig die from black card and layer around the frame.

To finish, I have added three black flat back pearls in opposite corners.

Snowflakes Are Falling

Good evening all

After a very long three days at work, I can't finally relax.  It's been a long time since I managed 10 hour days, my body was screaming at me last night.

I think that because of a very busy October with Uni open days and work, my mojo has done a disappearing act.  I not very happy with the card I have made today but thought I would post it anyway.

I have started with a white A5 card blank and inked around the edges using Dew Drop Memento Bahama Blue ink pad.  Next, I have added stitching around the edge with a fine line pen.

For the mats, I have used three different sizes of the Spellbinders Card Creator Modern Stationary die set.  The smallest I have cut from blank card stock and embossed it using a lattice embossing folder.  I have added tiny blue gemstones.

The second, I have cut from blue card stock and randomly stamped with Perfect Medium, snowflakes from the Martha Stewart stamp set.  I have then heat embossed with Wow Blue Glitz Embossing Glitter.

For the last mat, I have cut from white card and inked around the edges using the same ink pad.  Next, using the Honey Doo Crafts Christmas Wishes, I have stamped with Perfect Medium and heat embossed using Wow Blue Glitz and Wow Black Glitz Embossing Glitter.

The big snowflakes has been made using the Heartfelt Creations Arianna Lace die set.  I have cut out two from white card and embossed them using the same two embossing glitters.  Next, I have used one of the centre dies from the Arianna Blooms die set and embossed this using only the black embossing glitter.  These three have been layered together and a black brad placed through the centre.

To finish, I have added a metal charm hanging from the snowflake on a chain.

Sparkle

Good evening all

Today's card is made using a digital stamp called Snow Queen Sassy from Sassy Studio Designs.  I have coloured her using ProMarkers and added Glamour Dust.

From my computer, I have printed the sentiment "You Make My Life Sparkle" onto white card stock.  Next, I have coloured the card using the Tim Holtz Mowed Lawn Distress Ink pad and mounted it onto black card.

I have wrapped red organza ribbon around the bottom of the background before mounted it onto a white A5 card blank.

I have tried a bow from the same organza ribbon, glued this into the centre and added a sparkle button.

The digital stamp has been cut out and placed into the centre of the background using Pinflair glue to add dimension.

To finish, I have added three red flat back gemstones into the left hand corner and tiny red gemstones to the sentiment.

Orange Meadow

Good evening all

With the clocks going back an hour this weekend, I was looking forward to an extra hour in bed.  That didn't happen, I was awake at 6.30 this morning, so due to the fact I'm back at work tomorrow, an early night is in order.

The card I have made today is for my regular customer.  She has a friend who will be 76 years young.  I have gone with an orange theme with this one.

I have started with a square piece of white card stock and embossed it using the Die'sire Embossalicious Ornate Butterflies embossing folder.  Next, I have added soft colour using the Tim Holtz Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink pad and mounted onto black card leaving a small border around the edge.

Onto white card, I have stamped the Crafty Individuals Summer Meadow rubber stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black and added a dark colour using the stamp Distress Ink as the background.  This has then been cut into panels and mounted onto black card.

Using my Cameo Silhouette, I have cut out "Happy 76th Grace" from black card and placed along the bottom of the background.  I have also added a butterfly cut from white card using the Memory Box Pippi Butterfly die, this has been coloured with the same ink pad.  The centre of the butterfly has been cut from black card.

To finish, I have added three black flat back pearls into the top corner of the first panel.
