Winter Trees

Evening peeps

Well that was definitely the hardest Christmas we have ever had at work and it's still not got any better.  We went into Tier 4 just before Christmas, but you wouldn't think so with the amount of people out shopping on a daily basis.  Our store has a limit of 20 customers at any one time, so when a mother and father come shopping with their 5 kids, it means that 7 of that 20 limit is used up with one family, it should be stopped.  And the amount of customers either not wearing a mask or wearing them under their nose is ridiculous.

I personally think that the supermarkets should be closed and everyone made to order online, because until people start to listen, things are never going to get better.  Sorry for the rant.

Anyway, this is the first card I have made since before Christmas.  The materials I have used are:

White card stock

White watercolour card stock

Magazine freebie Autumn Days stamp set

Presscut Layering Squares die set

Nellie's ED004 Edging die set

Crafters Companion Frosted Tree die set

Crafters Companion Frosty Christmas die set

Tonic Winter Wishes Sentiment Strip die set

White embossing powder

Nuvo Blue Blitz shimmer powder

Nuvo Atlantis Burst shimmer powder

Nuvo Jade Fountain shimmer powder

Nuvo Laguna Bay ink pad

Nuvo Duck Egg Blue crystal drops

  4. It is really unbelievable how careless some people are about this corona crisis. Some people think they are alone in the world.
I also work in a store, a very large one. 300 customers are allowed in, but they are required to bring a shopping cart, and wearing a mouth mask is also mandatory.
At the moment, the Netherlands is also in a pretty strict lockdown, which will last at least 2 weeks. But it doesn't look good.
Enough talk. Now let me talk about your card, which you made super nice.
Thank you for sharing it at our challenge.

  11. Hi I'm in total agreement with your rant, I understand there are those who would struggle with a mask and personally I do, the warmer air triggers my asthma but I order online for the majority and wear a shield rather than nothing because surely that's better than not wearing one. I hope that things become easier over the coming weeks, can you put up a policy whereby one per household only similar to what the large supermarkets are doing? I've been refused entry to tesco with my dad even though he's my interpreter {I'm deaf} which is fine I don't shop there as such but had to get a prescription. Your creation is beautiful I really like it.Thank you for supporting International Art and Soul, I love seeing your creativity and imagination at work. We hope to see your inspiring talent again in the near future. Love ‘n’ hugs Sall, International Art and Soul DT

  12. Hello, Teresa. I'm so sorry that you have to work in a store with stubborn customers. My husband assures me that things will return to normal eventually, so keep a good thought.

I'm glad that you get to relax with crafting, though. Your card is really pretty! Thanks for sharing it with us at Cut it Up for our Winter challenge, and Happy New Year!
