Afternoon

I have had such a busy few days and the rest of the week is set to be the same.  Saturday I went to the Create It Craft Show in the Kent Show Ground which was a fantastic day out.  To top it off, it's only round the corner from where I live, so no long journey home for me.

Then this week, we have a major visit at work on Thursday, so everyone has had their day off changed.  I should have been off tomorrow, but now I have to wait until Friday, it's going to be a long week.

Anyway, I have just about managed to make a quick card this morning before I go to work.  The digital stamp is called Always Together from The Paper Shelter and I have coloured it using Copics and ProMarkers.

Elegance

Morning peeps

My poor brother, he had to rush his dog up to the vet on Sunday because he really wasn't very well.  They kept him in overnight on a drip and run tests yesterday.  It hasn't been good news, the dog has swallowed what they think is a golf ball, so he has had an operation to remove it, but the coating on the ball has poisoned him.  My brother has been told to expect the worse.  What makes it worse is he doesn't know how the ball landed up in the garden, it's so sad.

Anyway, my card today has been made using a digital stamp called The Lady from The Paper Shelter and it has been coloured using Copics and ProMarkers.

My Little Notebook

I have at last, managed to get the paperwork and folders sort for work.  I had to same an hour later without getting paid to do it, but I now feel a lot more settled.  And of course, I can't have a plain notebook so I have decorated it today.

Live Your Own Fairy Tale

Evening peeps

I am in the middle of laying turf down in my front garden at the moment.  My 69 year old father is doing it for me and can only do a little bit at a time on my days off.  Imagine my horror, when I received a letter today from my housing association giving me a 14 day notice to remove the dirt.  I had steam coming from my ears as I rang them to explain the re-turfing and stress that I was paying for it to be done out of my own pocket because I wanted a nice garden.

I think it's unbelievable the way this company conducts business.  We have been badly in need of new windows and doors for the last 10 years, but all they have done is send in contractors to paint them again and to top it off, the contractors left their rubbish in my front garden.  In the 16 years I have been here, they have only paid for a new kitchen and fence.  I got so fed up with the state of the bathroom that I paid out myself to have it replaced.  If I could afford to move out, I would.

Anyway, enough of my moaning.  I have made a quick 1 layer card tonight.  The digital stamp is called Winnie Wonderland Horse from Polkadoodles and it has been coloured using Copics and ProMarkers.

A Christmas Carol

I have had a bit of a melt down at work today, the first one since stepping back up to Section Leader.  The problem is that I like to be organised with folders of rotas, figures and results and at the moment I haven't had the time to set anything up.  The one thing I can't handle to the feeling of being dis-organised.
