Golfing

Evening peeps

It has been hard work today, I feel like shaking some of the colleagues at work. One of the young girls kept complaining that she was bored, so I told her to make some pizzas, no that's a boring job. I then told her to take over on Rotis, but again she said that was boring. I can't understand, she keeps saying that she needs to move departments, but another department won't be any less boring, that's working life most of the time.

Anyway, tonight's card is another order from a colleague for a 50th Birthday. The digital stamp is called Guy Golfing from Bugaboo Stamps and it has been coloured using Copics and ProMarkers.

Just a quick post tonight. I didn't sleep very well last night, so I'm having an early night to try and catch up.

My card tonight is an order from a colleague at work, her son is 15 next weekend. She couldn't decide on what theme to go for, so because he now plays Archery, we settled on that.

Season's Greetings

I had them all laugh at me today, you see I am a nightmare when it comes to coming dinner for myself now that I am on my own. Take this week for example, I have eaten toast every night. Anyway, I found a book yesterday called Meal in a Mug. It has well know recipes which you cook in the microwave in a mug. All of the ingredients are fresh and it takes a fraction of the time to cook, perfect for someone as lazy as me, I going to try out the first one tomorrow.

Anyway, onto my card for tonight. The digital stamp is called Snowglobe - Sunbonnet Skate from Bugaboo and it has been coloured using Copics and ProMarkers.

It's Snowing

Evening peeps

My son has had a major meltdown at uni today, so I have spent most of the afternoon on the phone trying to calm him down. I think it has been building up over the last couple of weeks, he is currently a Deputy Stage Manager on a play that the uni is down and from what I can understand, the Director is very rude to him and the rest of the cast and crew. My son has a habit of taking on everyone else's problems, but then lands up stressing himself out. On top of that, he caught his Housemate self harming the other night as well, so he is worrying about that as well.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, he has taken a comment the wrong way and instead of talking to his tutor about it, he has lost his temper and broken a chair. It has taken over an hour to talk him into sorting it out with his tutor. Trying to explain that losing your temper only makes thing worse was hard work.

Santa Is Coming

Evening peeps

Well that turned out to be a better day at work then I thought it would be. I spent a good half hour chatting to my Manager about what we can do to turn the Counters department round. Because of my experience and closeness to the colleagues, she has asked if I am happy to get involved and to coach the current Section Leader. At least now it will get my something else to focus on, I get bored very easy.

Anyway, this card tonight forms another part of an order I have from a colleague. I have gone for a winter landscape.

Winter Teddy Bear

Evening peeps

Well today at work was interesting. After all the disagreements yesterday, the colleague at the centre of it all went sick for two weeks with stress. She always has to make herself the centre of attention. I know full well what stress is, having lived with it and there is no way on this earth that she is showing shows of stress. I know it sound harsh, but it is so easy these days to play the stress card.
