What an exciting day, I have been accepted as a full design time member for Oyster Stamps.  I have done a 6 month guest designer slot with them last year but never dreamt that I would be asked to be a full member.  It hasn't sunk in yet.

Sympathy

Good evening

This has been a really hard card to make.  It was a shock to be told that a colleague passed away on Sunday from Cancer.  She was not only a colleague but also the Mother of another colleague who I have worked closely with for the pass few years.

I think the hardest bit is that no one knew.  Four weeks ago, she was rushing around at work like normal and then she just disappeared.

I have kept to a clean and simple design in yellow, white and kraft card.  The digital stamp is called Poppies Bunch from Sami Stamps.  I have coloured the stems using ProMarkers and paper pieced the flowers with digital patterned paper.

Mummy's Makeup

What a funny day today.  Monday's at work are normally all about paperwork, figures and meetings with everyone in.  Today there was only a few of us.  I didn't finish until six today, but have still managed to make a quick card.
