Happy Ever After

Good evening everyone

A bit of a busy afternoon and evening at work today, realised that I need to employ an extra colleague to help with the Friday night pizza rush.

Anyway, I did manage to do a quick make this morning.  I have had this frame for a few months and although I always knew what I was going to put in it, I haven't got round to it until now.

I have started with a photo frame with a mount inside for three 4" x 6" photographs.  I have then taken three pieces of white card stock and run it through a Spellbinders Hearts embossing folder and using a red pigment ink pad, I have coloured around the edges of each piece of embossed card.  These have then been stuck to the mount board with double sided tape.

Using the Spellbinders Decorative Labels Twenty-Eight die set, I have cut out one large and two of the next size down from white card stock and again soften the edges with the same red pigment ink pad.  The large one has then been stuck in the right hand mount and the smaller ones in the two remaining mounts.

The digital stamp is called You and Me from Tiddly Inks.  I have coloured them using ProMarkers, cut them out and layered them onto the centre of the large die cut.

Using the Memory Box Cream Puff Heart die, I have cut out two and coloured using the same red pigment ink pad.  I have then cut out two swans from white card stock backed with double sided adhesive, using the Memory Box Gentle Swan die.  These have then been covered with a white glitter.  The hearts and the swans have layered onto the centre mount.

I have printed out the sentiment "Happy Ever After Starts Here" and layered this onto the left hand mount.

To finish, I have added three flat back pearls to the top left hand side and three to the bottom right hand side of the frame.

I are entering this frame into the following challenges:

Vintage Girl

Good evening all

For today's card I have gone with a vintage look in blues and greens.

I have started with a square piece of green digital paper and layered onto this a smaller square piece of blue/cream patterned digital paper.  I have slightly distressed the edges of this patterned paper to give it an older feel.  Some cream vintage lace has been wrapped around both pieces of paper and the whole background has been layered onto a card blank with a blue Cosmic Shimmer PVA pearl edge.

The image is a free digital stamp from Cuddlebug Cuties and I have coloured her using ProMarkers.  Using the Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Rectangles, I have cut the largest size from white card stock.  I have then softened the edges using a light blue ink pad.  The image has been cut out and layered onto the die cut with Pinflair glue and some white Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue pearls added.

I have stamped the Heartfelt Creations Sun-Kissed Fleur using Perfect Medium and heat embossed with Heat It Up Silver Pearl Embossing Powder.  Using the match Spellbinders die, I have cut these out, shaped and layered with a flat back pearl added to the centres.  I have then made a small rose using the Crafty Sentiments Design Medium Rolled Flower die and using the same light blue ink pad, softened the edges.

To finish the card I have added to vintage style corners from my crafty stash.

You Have My Heart

Good evening all

That has been a very welcome break, back to work tomorrow unfortunately.  For today's card, I have used a love theme in a monochromatic style.

I have started with a square piece of white card stock and using a ProMarker, I have coloured around the edge in brown.  Onto this I have layered a slightly smaller piece of patterned digital paper.

Brown ribbon from my crafty stash has been placed across the background and I have added a bow from the same ribbon onto the right hand side of the card.

The digital stamp is from Sherri Baldy and I have coloured her using ProMarkers.  She has been layered onto white card stock with a brown boarder and I have added pearls using white Cosmic Shimmer PVA Glue.

Using the Memory Box Cupid Heart Die, I have cut from white card stock and using the same brown ProMarker, I have coloured it.  I have then taken another piece of white card stock and run it through a Spellbinders Embossing folder.  The die cut have has then been glued onto the embossed card and I have cut around it.

To finish the card, I have added the sentiment "You Have My Heart" cut using a Spellbinders die.

Young Man

Good evening all

Unfortunately, I have not had a very good day today, most of the day was spent in bed with a headache.  I have picked up a bit tonight, so just about managed to finish this card off.

I have started with a square piece of white card stock and using a ProMarker, I have coloured around the edges and down and across the centre of the card.

I have then taken two different patterned digital papers and cut out four squares, two from each paper and layered them onto the card stock.

The digital stamp is called Give Big from Saturated Canary.  I have coloured him in using ProMarkers.  Using a Spellbinders Circle Die, I have cut from white card stock and softened the edges with Adirondack Earthtones Espresso Ink Pad.  This has then been placed onto a larger circle with the edges coloured with a ProMarker to match the theme.  The digital stamp has layered onto the circle using PinFlair glue to give dimension and three red buttons added for interest.

I have put together a smaller version of the circle and added a "Happy Birthday" die cut sentiment using the Whimsy Stamps Birthday Sentimentables die.

To finish the card, I have added blue buttons in opposite corners of the card.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Sassy Yellow

Good evening

Been a very busy day today, had to take back my Grand Calibur after it broke on Friday night, I have to say, they were fantastic and replaced it without question.

I have still managed to fit in a card tonight, the theme is a Daughter's Birthday.

I have started with a square piece of black card stock and layered onto this, patterned digital paper.  I have then taken a second piece of black card stock and run it through an embossing folder.  A piece of yellow ribbon has been wrapped around and the card has then been placed onto the background.

Using a Spellbinders die, I have cut a piece of white card stock, run this through a flower embossing folder and soften the edges using a yellow ink pad.  This has again been layered onto black card stock.

The digital stamp is a freebie that I pick up many moons ago from Sassy Studio Designs, I'm not sure if this image is still available.  I have coloured her using ProMarkers, cut her out and placed her over the centre of the card.

The two flowers have been made using the Heartfelt Creations Sweet Juliet Die, I have cut two large from black card stock and two small from yellow card stock.  All of the layers have been shaped and using a yellow gemstone brad, I have layered one of each colour.

I have printed from my computer, the sentiment "Birthday Wishes to my Daughter" and cut into a banner shape, this have then been layered onto black card stock and using a bone folder, I have given it a curve for more dimension.

To finish the card, I have added yellow flat back gemstones in three corners of the card and on the ribbon.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

CAS Grand Daughter

Happy Sunday everyone

I have decided to have a crafting day today.  It is very rare that I have a Sunday off from work, so I might as well make the most of it.

This is the first of today's cards, made for a Granddaughter.

I have started with a square piece of white card stock and because I have run out of red card, I have used a ProMarker just of the edges.  Onto this I have layered a piece of patterned digital paper.  I have then taken a small piece of matching patterned digital paper, wrapped red ribbon around it and placed this across the centre of the background.

This has then been layered onto white card stock edged with pink Cosmic Shimmer PVA Glue pearls.

The digital stamp is from a set of 3 called It's All In Sam's Approach, these can be purchased from Sassy Cheryl's Digital Stamps & Illustrations.  I have coloured her using ProMarkers and cut her out.

Using Spellbinders Nestibilities, I have cut a plain circle and a scalloped circle from white card stock.  I have run the plain circle through a Spellbinders embossing folder and softened the edges with a pink ColorBox pigment ink pad.  The scalloped circle, I have coloured the edges with the same ProMarker to match the theme.

Using PinFlair glue to give dimension, I have placed the digital stamp over the two circles.

Using the Tattered Lace Lacy Marguerite Floral Die, I have cut one out of pink Centura Pearl card and one out of white card stock, which I have then coloured to match the theme.

I have then shaped and layered this and added a flat back pearl into the centres.

To finish the card, I have added a Tattered Lace Grand Daughter die cut and flat back pearls in the top right hand corner of the card.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Love To Shop

Happy Saturday everyone

I hope your weekend to going great so far and you are getting lots of crafting done.  For today's card I have gone with a really girly theme.

I have taken a square piece of patterned digital paper and purple Centura Pearl card and layered them onto a piece of white card stock with a pierced boarder.  I have then taken a smaller piece matching patterned digital paper layered with the same purple Centura Pearl card and placed this along the centre for the background.

The digital image is from Sherri Baldy and she has been coloured using ProMarkers.  I have also added some pearls to her headband and bow using white Cosmic Shimmer PVA Glue.

Onto the same purple Centura Pearl card, I have stamped the Heartfelt Creations Sun-Kissed Fleur using Perfect Medium and heat embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Arctic Pearl Lustre Embossing Powder.  I have then cut these out using the matching Spellbinders die, shaped them and layered them up with a flat back pearl added to the centres.

I have also cut out from yellow Centura Pearl, to small flowers using the Crafty Cutter Dies Medium Rolled Flowers from Crafty Sentiments Design.

I have placed a piece of white cotton lace along the bottom of the card and then using the same lace, placed a bow in the top right hand corner, adding a dress metal charm to give a little bit of movement.

To finish the card, I have added the sentiment "To a Very Special Daughter" in the top left hand corner.
