First Love

Good afternoon crafters

Today I have a card to show you with the theme of love in the colours of brown and pink.  I apologise for the quality of the photos, couldn't seem to get a very good picture today.

I have taken a square piece of pink Centura Pearl card and using Perfect Medium and a freebie stamp, I have randomly stamped a heart patterned.  I have then heat embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Iced Blush Lustre embossing powder.

I have then taken three pieces of white card and run them through a Spellbinders M-Bossabilities folder.  I have added a gentle colour using Adirondack Earthtones Espresso Ink Pad and brush and then layered onto brown Centura Pearl card.

I have taken a digital stamp from Sherri Baldy and coloured using ProMarkers.  I have used the same Adirondack Earthtones Espresso ink pad to add a gentle shading around the edge of the image and layered onto the same brown Centura Pearl card.

I have added a Memory Box Cream Puff Heart cut from pink Centura Pearl and a pink and brown Centura Pearl flower cut using a Tattered Lace die.

To finish the card, I have added a "Always & Forever" sentiment and layered the front of the card onto a pierced piece of white card using Pinflair glue.

Natures Smile

Good evening everyone

I have had much more time to craft this week due to having 3 days off work, so here is another card.  I have gone for a general theme for this card with the aim of making some one smile when they receive it.

The image is a digital stamp which is in a set of three called Avery's Summer Afternoon from Sassy Cheryl's Digital Stamps & Illustrations and I have coloured her in using ProMarkers.

I have used two different digital patterned papers from my crafty stash and I have layered them onto pink paper with give a little boarder.  Down one side of the card I have taken a strip of the same pink paper and layered a strip of yellow Centura Pearl, I have then added some pink ribbon tie into a knot down the centre of this strip.

Using Perfect Medium, I have stamp out the Heartfelt Creations Striped Sun-kissed Fleur flower onto yellow Centura Pearl card and heat embossed it with Wow! Opaque Bright White embossing powder.  It has then been cut out using the match Spellbinders die and layered with a yellow flat back pearl in the centre.

To finish the card, I have added the sentiment "A Flower is Natures Smile", some yellow flat back pearls in the top left hand corner and used Cosmic Shimmer white PVA glue to add pearls to the image.

I have used a digital stamp set called Avery's Summer Afternoon from Sassy Cheryl's Digital Stamps & Illustrations, which I have coloured using ProMarkers.

I have layered a square piece of digital patterned paper onto green card stock for the background.  I have then taken a strip of a different patterned digital paper layered onto the same green card and placed this across the centre and added a piece of pink ribbon.

I have taken a third piece of digital patterned paper layered onto green card and added a boarder cut using a Tattered Lace die.  This has then been placed down the left hand side of the card.

I have cut a flower from pink glitter card using the Spellbinders D-Lites Blooms Three die and added a centre cut from green card.

New Baby

Good afternoon Crafters

I hope everyone had a fantastic new year.  Today's card is the first for 2014 and I have gone for a new baby theme.

I have used a digital stamp called New Baby from Saturated Canary and I have coloured using ProMarkers.

I have cut a square piece of polka dot digital paper and layered this onto white card with a pierced edge, then a smaller square piece of patterned digital paper has been layered on top.

With a smaller square piece of matching patterned digital paper, I have layered onto the same polka dot paper.

For the image, I have again, used the same polka dot paper and turned it to make a diamond.  I have then used the Spellbinders Captivating Squares die and cut out of white card, this has then been layered onto the polka dot paper.

Using Pinflair Glue to give a little dimension, I have placed the digital stamp into the centre of the card.

I have stamped with Perfect Medium, the Heartfelt Creations Sun-Kissed Fleur flower onto the same polka dot paper and heat embossed with Wow! Clear Sparkle embossing powder, cut these out with the matching die and layered together.  A flat back pearl has been placed into the centre of each flower.

To finish, I have added a New Baby sentiment.

Punk

Good evening

Well it's nearly the end of the year and I must say that I will not be sorry to say goodbye to 2013.  Hopefully, I will be entering the new year with better health and a positive attitude.

Today's card is an easel card which has been made for a close friend of mine to give to her partner,  the theme was left completely up to me, so I thought he would appreciate a card with a bit of humour.

The image is a digital stamp called Duncan Disorderly from Doctor Digi House of Stamps.  I have coloured it using ProMarkers and layered it onto silver mirror card.

I have taken a square piece of black card and run it through an embossing folder, I then printed off a red tartan piece of patterned digital paper and layered this onto the black card and then layered the whole lot onto silver mirror card.

Using a Spellbinders basic circle die, I have cut a piece of white card and from black card, I have cut a Happy Birthday sentiment using the Whimsy Stamps Birthday Sentimentables die.  These have been layered onto silver mirror card.

I have then cut into a flag shape, three pieces of card, one black, one silver mirror card and one tartan and attached these to the bottom of the circle.

To finish, I have used the same tartan patterned paper on the base of the easel card and added a Birthday verse as an easel stopper.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Creative Knockouts - Anything Goes
613 Avenue Create - Black & Favourite Colour

Pretty In Pink

Good evening crafters

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and Santa brought you everything you wished for.  Today I am posting one of my Christmas Cards.  This card was made very late on Christmas Eve, I had been so busy getting everyone else's cards made, I ran out of time for my own.

The image is a digital stamp called Nikki from Saturated Canary.  I have coloured her in using ProMarkers and layered her onto silver mirror card.

For the background, I have taken a square piece of pink Centura Pearl card and using the Martha Stewart Snowflake Stamp Set and Perfect Medium, I have randomly stamped and heat embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Iced Blush Lustre and Heat It Up Holographic embossing powders.

I have taken a piece of white/silver satin edged organza ribbon and added a piece of pink ribbon down the centre.  This has then been added down the centre of the background and the digital stamp placed on top.

The flowers in the bottom corner of the card have been made by stamping with Perfect Medium, the Heartfelt Creations Christmas Poinsettia stamp and heat embossing using Heat It Up Silver Tinsel embossing powder.  This has then been cut out using the matching Spellbinders die and layered up to make three different sized flowers.  I have added a flat back pearl to the centre of each flower.

To finish the card, I have added a sentiment "Christmas Wishes Mum" in the shape of a banner, flat back pearls and a bow made from the same ribbons.

The whole thing has then been layered onto a piece of white card with a boarder of Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue pearls around the edge.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Snow Blue Bestie

Good evening

Just a quick post tonight.  You can tell it's the weekend before Christmas, everyone was out doing their Christmas shopping today.  I had to put all my Colleagues onto the fish counter to cope with the amount of salmon that people wanted filleted.  I will say that I have the most wonderful team of colleagues and I am very proud of the job they do.

Anyway, I have managed to find the time to finish another card, even if it took me two days to do.

The image is a digital stamp from Sherri Baldy and I have coloured her using ProMarkers.  This has been mounted onto mirror card and I have added same pearls using the White Cosmic Shimmer PVA Glue.

For the background, I have printed a piece of digital patterned paper from my crafty stash and mounted this onto mirror card.  I have then used the Spellbinders Persian Accents die to cut two boarders from red card stock.  One has been placed along the bottom of the card and the other down the left hand side.  All of this has then been mounted onto plain white card stock and I have added Blue Cosmic Shimmer PVA Glue around the edge.

Using the Heartfelt Creations Christmas Poinsettia, I have stamped with Perfect Medium onto red card stock and heat embossed using Heat It Up Silver Tinsel embossing powder.  These have then been cut out using the matching Spellbinders die.  I have layered three flowers with a gemstone in the centre and placed these in the bottom left hand corner of the card.  I have then placed three of the smaller flowers, again with a gemstone in the centre, down the right hand side.

To finish, I have cut a "Mum" sentiment using the Tattered Lace Family Sentiments die from mirror card and placed it in the top corner of the image.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

My Besties UK Challenge - Jingle Bells
Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge Blog - Use Your Favourite Colour (Red/Blue)
Creative Knockouts - Winter Wonderland
Brown Sugar Challenge Blog - Anything Goes

That's it for now, time for bed, ready for another busy day.
