Pink and Pearly Flowers

Happy Sunday Morning

I started making this card late last night and finished it off this morning.  It is going to be entered into the following challenges:

My Besties Dutch Girls Designs
Scrapbook Stamp Society

I have used the My Bestie IMG 815 and coloured using ProMarkers and added Cosmic Shimmer Pearl Glue to the centre of the flowers.  I have framed the image using Captivating Squares Spellbinders Die.

The flowers have been made using the Heartfelt Creations Sun Kissed Fleur Stamp and Spellbinders Die set and they have been embossed with black sparkle embossing power and coloured using ProMarkers to match the many image.  They have been finished off with a flat back pearl in the centre of each flower.

Lace from my local cake making shop has been put across the base of the card and the sentiment "Always my Sister forever my friend" has been added.  To finish off I have added a pink polka dot button with pink ribbon to the sentiment and two white flower buttons in the top left corner.

I have loved putting this card together, which is why I still found myself up at 2pm this morning.  I do hope you like it too.

My Bestie UK Challenge

Happy Saturday everyone

I'm am such a big fan of the My Bestie Digital Stamps and enter the US Challenge every week now, but what I didn't realise until recently is that there is a UK Challenge Blog as well.  I often watch Carley on Create and Craft and she is the first person I have seen using these stamps.

So, this week I have decided to enter the My Besties UK Challenge as well as the US one.  The theme is to use three things beginning with B on your card,  the three Bs I have chosen are Butterfly, Bow and Beads, here is what I have come up with.

I have printed digital paper onto a piece of A4 card stock and cut and folded to make a stepper card. The My Bestie digital stamp is called Cherry Blossom and I have coloured her in using ProMarkers.

I have used the Decorative Labels Twenty-Eight Spellbinders Die on all three steps. On one side of the stepper card I have added red paper roses from my local shop and a die cut butterfly with flat back pearls.

On the other side I have added red paper roses to match and made up three bead pins from my crafty stash of beads.

On the digital stamp and the sentiment I have added small pearls made from Cosmic Shimmer Pearl Glue.

A red bow made of organza ribbon from my local shop has been added to the front of the stepper card and to finish, a Birthday Wishes sentiment.

I hope that everyone likes my first UK My Bestie Challenge entry and I look forward to entering more challenges and meet other My Bestie UK fans.

Totally Paper Crafts Challenge

Good Evening everyone,

Just a quick post today as it's getting late and I need to tuck myself up in bed.

I have made this card to enter into the Totally Paper Crafts challenge.

The challenge title this is week is Decoupage.  I have a pile of decoupage sheets in my cupboard which I have never got round to using, so I just picked out one of those.  The digital papers are also from my crafty stash.

The Paper Flowers I have made myself using to different colour papers, I have added a button from my local shop and some green thread.  They have been finished off with Ice Stickles.

I have used a Spellbinders Die to create a bit of interest around the decoupaged image.  The wings of the image have also been glittered with the Ice Stickles.

The card has been finished off with a Green bow from my local shop, Hat Pins from Wild Orchid Crafts and Cosmic Shimmer Pearl Glue.

I hope you like it.

Sassy Studio Designs Challenge

Good Evening everyone

This is the second post today.  I love the Sassy Studio Designs Digital Stamps and found this challenge on the blog tonight and thought I would have a go.

The theme is Profession or Type of Work, so as I use to be a Secretary many moons ago, I decided to use that as inspiration for my card.

I have used a digi from Sassy Studio which has been coloured in using ProMarkers.

I found this cute image of an old typewriter on the Internet and thought it was perfect to go with this card.  I remember learning to type of a typewriter just like this.  The card has been aimed at a 50th Birthday as the youngsters probably won't know what a typewriter is.

The paper flowers have been made using a UK Success punch.  I'm still trying to get use to making these flowers, I'm sure that with more pratience they will get better.

The card has been finished off with green ribbon and a black brad from my crafty stash and Cosmic Shimmer pearls.

That's all for now as I'm off to bed.

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge

Good Afternoon everyone

What a day, it has been a real struggle with my back today, I seem to have one good day and then half a dozen bad days.

Just about managed to finish my card for the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge which has a theme this week of Well Done/Congratulation/You've Done It.

I decided to do a Wedding Card for this challenge and instead of going for my usual square shape, I have tried a stepper card.

I have printed the backing paper directly on my card stock before cutting and folding to create the stepper.

The Digital Stamp is from Tiddly Inks and I have coloured using ProMarkers.
I have used to Spellbinder Dies, Decorative Labels Twenty-Eight and one of the Window dies, both have been cut out of glitter card.

The large paper roses and the stray are both from local shops and the small roses are from Ribbon Girl.  I have put this little arrangement on top of the windows on both sides of the stepper.

I have also used same pink lace out of my crafty stash and Cosmic Shimmer Glue to create the pink pearls.  The card has been finished off with the words Always and Forever.

I'm quite pleased with the way it has turned out, I hope you like it too.

Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge

Evening all,

My Cousin loved the card I made for her Granddaughter yesterday so much that she has asked me to make a similar one for her other Granddaughter.

This one I am going to enter into the Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge.  The challenge is to pick three embellishments from a list, I have chosen Flowers, Ribbon and Pearls.

The image is a My Bestie Digital Stamp from Sherri Baldy and the papers are from my crafty stash.

I have used paper roses, the large are from my local shop and the small are from Ribbon Girl.  These have been glittered with glitter glue.

The bow is made of taffeta ribbon from Ribbon Girl and I have used pearls to make a swirl.

The purple crown embellishment I have had for about 4 years in my crafty stash, I never got round to using it until now.

And finally, I have finished the card with a sweet sentiment.

I hope you like my card.

Passion for ProMarkers Challenge

Good Afternoon,

I thought I would tie together two projects today.  My Cousin asked me to make a card for her Granddaughter who will be 2 this month, so I made it using the recipe needed for the Passion for ProMarkers Challenge.

I have decided to make an Easel Card using a My Bestie Digital Stamp from Sherri Baldy.

The paper are from my digital stash at home.

I have die a Butterfly from Glitter Card and added some flat back pearls along the body.

The Flowers and Yellow Bow are from my local shop.

To finish the card off, I have glittered the wings of the fairy and added some flat back pearls.

I hope you like it.
